Holiday 2005 Newsletter

I know we are only at Halloween but there is a lot that is coming up in the next two months so I didn’t want to wait until December to write the next newsletter. Many of you know that I turned 50 last December. Most of you don’t know that my dream was to travel to Australia for my 50th birthday. Well, I’m still 50 and my dream is coming true on November 18th. I will be visiting both Australia and New Zealand for 21 days and will be out of the office until December 11. Don’t worry; I have a good friend and fellow Logan College graduate coming in to replace me while I’m gone. Dr. Deborah Springer was 2 classes ahead of me in school and has lots of experience treating patients. She will be in the office during normal hours for the whole time that I’m gone. She can adjust you and test you for nutrition but she is not trained in the Bio Cranial System or Acupuncture. If you need those treatments we will work on finding someone in the area to help you while I’m gone. It has been a very long time since I have been out of the office for more than a few days at a time so leaving for three weeks was a very scary proposition. Knowing that Dr. Springer agreed to be here and knowing she will take good care of you removed those feelings of trepidation.
For the Birds
The latest scare that is being promoted by the media is the avian virus or bird flu. Headlines scream 200,000 to 2 million may die from this virus. They are predicting this to be the next great pandemic (worldwide epidemic) on the scale of the Spanish flu of 1918. They are in full production of a vaccine that many may be mandated to take. This all sounds pretty scary but is the threat real? The numbers cited for Bird Flu deaths to date range from 60 to 160 worldwide. These cases were all bird handlers in poor areas of poor countries who got the infection from handling sick birds for a living. Once a person has the virus it does not appear to be easily spread to other people. The person to person transmission is nearly impossible at this time. So why the panic? Because somebody needs to buy their useless vaccines!
The Tamiflu vaccine is of questionable value in the first place but is
being touted as the solution to this non-existent problem. The government
ordered twenty million doses be made and there is a bill in congress that
will mandate you to take the shot if it passes. I try to stay out of politics
but I think this is information you need. Below is information I copied

Meanwhile, the "Biodefense and Pandemic Vaccine and Drug Development
Act of 2005" (S. 1873), recently passed out of the U.S. Senate HELP
Committee one day after it was introduced. The National Vaccine Information
Center (NVIC) (www.NVIC.org) is calling
the bill "a drug company stockholder's dream and a consumer's worst
nightmare." This bill, spurred by bird flu fears, will broadly eliminate
corporate liability for vaccines and drugs. This bill will soon go to
the full Senate for a vote.
After reading the information below, please write to your own Senator and your own member of Congress in protest of this bill. Pass this alert to your family, friends, and other organizations you are involved with, and go to the NVIC website to take action right now.
The proposed legislation, nicknamed "Bioshield Two," is being pushed rapidly through Congress without time for voters to make their voices heard by their elected representatives. It will strip Americans of the right to a trial by jury if they are harmed by a drug or vaccine that they are forced by government to take, whenever federal health officials declare a public health emergency.
The bill establishes the Biomedical Advanced Research and Development Agency (BARDA), as the single point of authority within the government for research and development of drugs and vaccines in response to bioterrorism and natural disease outbreaks. BARDA will operate in secret, exempt from the Freedom of Information Act and the Federal Advisory Committee Act, insuring that no evidence of injuries or deaths caused by drugs and vaccines labeled as "countermeasures" will become public. This proposed legislation is an unconstitutional attempt by some in Congress to give a taxpayer-funded handout to pharmaceutical companies for drugs and vaccines the government can force all citizens to use, while absolving everyone connected from any responsibility for injuries and deaths which occur.
Flu Shots
This is also the time of year when everyone asks me my opinion about flu shots. I do not recommend them period. I do not think sick or healthy people of any age should be shooting dead viruses, embalming fluid, mercury and aluminum into their bodies. Besides, it all a crap-shoot anyway! They decide in January what viruses might possibly make the rounds 10 months down the road and formulate the shot based on that guess. As the last few years have shown us, they can be totally wrong in their prediction. My suggestion is to keep your immune system strong by getting enough natural calcium, fatty acids and whole vitamin C complex in your diet from fresh live foods not dead packaged or processed fake food. Studies over the past 50 years have proven that calcium alerts the immune system to mobilize against a virus and attacks with the T-cells that have been armed by the vitamin C complex. The fatty acids help ionize the calcium and get it into the cell membranes as our first line of defense against any disease. That is how Congaplex helps your immune system to fight infections. The other key to staying healthy is to treat any cold immediately. There is no such thing as a normal cold. It is your body’s way of dealing with a toxic condition. If you start getting congested or feverish treat it now, not 3 days from now. I have taken 6 Congaplex an hour or Phytogen at the first sign of getting sick and have kicked it out of my body in a matter of hours. Who has time to be sick at all anymore? Don’t cover it up with decongestants and night-time remedies because they just prolong the illness. If you aren’t sure what to take then get in and I’ll test you. Office news
I will be out of the office for a seminar on Friday November 11. I am investigating a new spinal decompression system that appears to have an 86% success rate in treating herniated discs. This is a very sophisticated, high tech treatment system that may save a lot of people from spine surgery. If it turns out to be as effective as they say, I will be procuring this system for the office. I will be mailing you more about this system in the very near future. I wish this treatment system had been around 15 years ago when I had herniated two discs in my lower back!
The office will be open the Friday after Thanksgiving and Dr. Springer
will be seeing patients until our normal 1 PM that day. During the Christmas
holiday the office will be closed December 23rd, 26th and January 2nd.
