April 2008 Newsletter

Recently the news has carried reports of problems in the drugs many people use on a daily basis. We have been assured that the drugs are FDA approved so we believe they are safe.

Drugs really have adverse reactions, effects other than what they were designed to do, but many people call them side-effects. For instance aspirin can relieve pain but also make your stomach bleed. On www.worstpills.org they have a table that shows some of the adverse reactions caused by many of the more common drugs taken today. (http://www.worstpills.org/public/page.cfm?op_id=5)

Summary of Adverse Reactions and the Drugs That Cause Them

Deadly Options

Since inappropriately prescribed drugs are the fourth leading cause of death in this county, it would be helpful to know that most of these drugs have natural counter-parts.  For example, there are a lot of drugs in this list that are for digestive problems and heartburn.  There are many effective natural solutions to these digestive problems that would not cause all these adverse effects.  If you or someone you know is taking medicine for digestive problems I can usually help find natural solutions that will treat the cause and not just cover-up the symptoms and they have no adverse reactions.  Call us and to schedule an appointment to see how we can help resolve this ailments without the use of dangerous drugs.

Office Info

Because we are running out of space for our growing staff, we need to take over the room where the children’s playroom has been.  If anyone wants some or all of the toys in that room we are giving them away to whoever wants them.  Just stop by and pick up what you would like on a first come, first served basis.  Sorry we can’t really hold or reserve toys for anyone so don’t ask.
