Run for the Hills!

The piggies are coming the piggies are coming! It is vital that everyone stop kissing their pigs and this Swine Flu Pandemic will be stopped cold in its tracks! I know it’s a sacrifice but it is one we all have to do! Have you had enough of the Swine Flu hysteria yet? I know I have and I don’t read newspapers or watch the news. It still seems to seep into every form of media out there.

Dr. Leonard Horowitz is saying it is a manufactured virus from the Novavax Company who supposedly has the vaccine already for distribution. (http://www.tetrahedron.org)

Novavax’s preliminary report in the Journal of Virology, with co-authors from the CDC in Atlanta, was posted online at the precise time Mexican officials began reporting deaths from this new strain of flu that is clearly an unprecedented recombinant of at least three H5N1 and H1N1 strains. Novavax’s Johnny-on-the-spot vaccine was prepared under the CDC’s “fast track” approval process speciously using these three strains never known to infect any human in Mexico. Therefore, the statistical probability this virus came from this company of “experts” is extremely high. Alternatively, anticipated arguments the virus arrived in Mexico by serendipity, at this precise time in Novavax’s history, is ridiculously remote.

I’ve heard others say it is to help get rid of the excess Tamiflu shots that we have from the Bird Flu epidemic that never developed. The theories go on and on but they don’t help us stay healthy.

CDC Advice

This is from their website and is about as useful as the conspiracy theories: (http://www.cdc.gov/swineflu/)

  • Stay informed. This website will be updated regularly as information becomes available.
  • Influenza is thought to spread mainly person-to-person through coughing or sneezing of infected people.
  • Take everyday actions to stay healthy.
  • Cover your nose and mouth with a tissue when you cough or sneeze. Throw the tissue in the trash after you use it.
  • Wash your hands often with soap and water, especially after you cough or sneeze. Alcohol-based hands cleaners are also effective.
  • Avoid touching your eyes, nose or mouth. Germs spread that way.
  • Stay home if you get sick. CDC recommends that you stay home from work or school and limit contact with others to keep from infecting them.

What they fail to mention in all the hype over this Swine flu is that 30-60 thousand people a YEAR already die from the flu in this country. That is 577-1153 people a week that die from a flu that a majority of the population get a shot to prevent. How many cases of the “Non-Swine” flu were reported last week? A heck of a lot more than 50-100 and with a lot more deaths!

The real solution is to have a strong immune sytem. Calcium, whole vitamin C complex from food sources and essential fatty acids (like Omega 3 or Cataplex F from Standard Process) are the triad that keeps our immune system strong. These are found in Congaplex in both chewables for kids and capsules. The best source of these nutrients is eating real, live food and not processed junk.

I have a liquid concotion I take every day made from Mediherbs Echinacea Premium, Gingko and High Grade Licorice. We call it Dr. Reese’s Immune Tonic. To some it tastes nasty but I don’t mind it. I do like what it does for my immune system, my adrenals and my memory.

Herbs like Echinacea, Osha, Lomatium, St. John’s Wort and Neem are anti-virals. Garlic, Iodine, homeopathic viral remedies, etc are also good ways to fight a virus. Two teaspoons of organic apple cider vinegar and honey in 8 oz of water is also a good boost for the immune system as I have talked about in the October 2008 newsletter. Getting enough rest is a given and lastly, cut out the junk food from your diet. If we want to grow an infection in the lab, one way is to grow it in sugar. When you start to feel sick is when it is time to avoid the sugar, alcohol, dairy and wheat. Of course if you drink enough alcohol then you don’t really care if you’re sick! (joke)

Every spring, in Colorado, there are parasites in our water supply. Now is when you really need to be filtering your drinking water or drinking filtered bottle water. If you get a parasitic infection, your immune system will get weaker and you will be more suseptible to whatever flu or bacteria is floating around in the environment. Any cough lasting longer than a week could very well be caused by a parasitic lung infection.

Chemical exposures have been shown to make you 10-100 times more suseptible to infections. New paint, carpet and/or furniture, cleaning chemicals, petroleum products, tobacco, sick buildings, etc will pull your immune system down and make you sick. Air purifiers for your home and office can protect you from succuming to chemical pollutants that pull your immune system down.

Real Newsletter

I had planned to talk about the falacy and folly of excess stomach acid and acid blocking medications this month but the Swine Flu hype needed to be addressed. I hope to go over this condition next month providing there isn’t some other made-up health scare.
